Shri Maat-Pita Gowdham Mahatirth
Respect for parents and love for cows
Our History
There is no God greater than parents in this world, I am not wealthy enough to repay their debt.
In Indian culture, mother and father hold the highest place. It is said that 'There is no god greater than mother and father'. In Indian lifestyle, through joint families, cow-based agriculture, and products obtained from Panchagavya, not only nutrition but also protection of rituals has been maintained. With time, modernization, urbanization, and western influences have distanced our younger generation from their roots, due to which respect for mother and father decreased, the joint family system continued to break, and the number of old age homes started increasing continuously. Similarly, Gaumata, the foundation of Indian culture, also became a victim of neglect - sometimes on the streets, sometimes in slaughterhouses. These situations weakened the ethical, cultural, and spiritual values of society, creating imbalance in human life.
Our Founding Story
Founding Story — From Resolution to Reality
Whose concept was conceived by its founder Shri Gyan Chandra Valia, this is the Gaushala history of this Aryavansh where sons renounce their thrones for the word of their mother and father. Today, on that same land, where the increasing trend of old age homes is seen, the sound of Gaumata protecting every house is being heard. With the aim of taking the idea of respecting mother and father and love for Gaumata to the masses, Shri Gyan Chandra Valia took a great resolution - to make Gaushala India - this was the goal... and thus began the successful journey of Worlds First Mother-Father Gaushala Mahatirth.
Now it was time to realize this conceived idea. Then, with the blessings of his mother and father, Brahmarshi Yogi Samrat Shri Dattatreya Baba Ji, revered Shri Dharma Nand Ji Maharaj Pathri and the grace of revered Shri Moni Baba Ji, on 21 acres of land in Khand-Khand-Akhand, Danda, Punjab (India), this journey began on October 21, 2011, with the worship of the land in the presence of all revered gurus, which was a matter of just one years duration, and now this idea is taking shape on the ground.
Here is being constructed, Worlds First and Only Mother-Father Gaushala Mahatirth which has a different meaning from any other gaushala, but here ones mother and father will be worshipped like God. You can bring your mother and father here and worship them, and if they are not in this world, you can perform their yajna in their memory and worship them.
This idea has been honored by various institutions, distant places, News World of India, etc. Besides, many organizations have honored this idea.
World First Temple
In this world, the worship of mother-father, and the service of mother cow.
This is 'World's First and Only Mother-Father Gaushala Mahatirth' which has a different meaning from any other gaushala, but here one's mother and father will be worshipped like God. You can bring your mother and father here and worship them, and if they are not in this world, you can perform their yajna in their memory and worship them.
To bring such an idea to the ground, 'Mother-Father Gaushala Mahatirth' is taking a small lamp form with the objective...
Om Gau Matu Pitu Charan Kamalaya Namah
Gau Seva — Essence of Life
Cow service is the essence of religion. The worship of the cow is the worship of all deities.
In Maat Pitah Gowdham, cow service is considered the foundation of life. Today, the care and nourishment of about 400 indigenous cows is being done here with utmost faith, respect, and dedication. Regular service, medical care, nutrition, and protection of the Gaumatas are ensured by representatives of the Haridwar Gaushala and Gau-premis (cow lovers). Through cow worship, devotees receive the blessings of the Gaumatas and make natural products like Panchagavya a part of their lives. Embracing the idea that 'The essence of living is cow service', this gaushala has not only become a center for cow protection but has also become a source of inspiration for culture, compassion, and balanced lifestyle.
